With all the legal requirements and the problem with being held liable for a private sale their is no way I'd sell a firearm to anyone without that person going through a background check and for me to have some knowledge of the person.

Avoiding the $25.00 fee was not worth the future legal liability.

But criminals don't care about laws or liability until it is forced upon them.
