@Packetcap - I explained why 7 years; a minor cannot legally renounce and you must be 25 to be seated in the US House. 18 + 7 = 25. It is also long enough that, for those intending to game it, they must have relinquished any right to change their mind almost two full presidential terms prior. 2022-07-11 12:23:39
