Interesting. "The CDC is corrupt or inept. Nope. They knew within weeks exactly where this virus came from because it was already in their databases....it was from malice in an attempt to shield the guilty parties from diligent inquiry, exposition before the public and appropriate sanction." I guess my definition of 'corrupt' is a little broad then. As for the "conspiracy" theories (whatever the hell that even means now)--I respect wanting and needing to keep your site 'clean', consider myself reminded. I would only add the consideration, that conspiracy theories are what kept many on the path to the truth here in this instance. That the stigma of negative labelling is what They use (and used with Covdud) to hide their misdeeds, malignant/nefarious intentions, etc. While some of those theories are a bit grand, they also provide the functional aspect of forcing people to challenge their assumptions and dig to prove themselves. Silencing even the most astronomical theories is risky. We have seen the results of that in spades now. Perhaps a better method is going back to the word 'rumor', which is what they really are, which implies dispelling the rumor and launches us into the pursuit of data and fact. Afterall TG, you are a conspiracy theorist still at this point, just like the rest of us--dont you watch the news? ;) 2022-01-13 10:43:36
