Watching government, media and corporations lie with impunity is hard, but what is new is the brazenness of lying and corruption. Clearly we are living in a time where no lie is too big. When the criminals know they can get away with any theft what is to stop the stealing? That is foreboding.|
What breaks the heart is seeing every institution one cares about and the leaders of those institutions join in the dishonesty.Seeing how willfully ignorant, dishonest and cowardly supposedly good people have become shocks one's sensibilities.
As for Covid, it has mutated and yet now Americans are being shamed for catching what for most is a cold. This is irrational. It is illogical. And there seems to be no stopping the insanity.
We must be firm and confident in what we know to be true. "Let the lie go around the world but not through me." The liars and criminals will devour themselves. Stand clear and let it happen,
The America willing to defend Truth and Liberty still exists. Trust that it is there. Be loyal to principles. Be wise in the allegiance you extend to people. There are charlatans who feign to lead the cause of Freedom but who have their own agenda. To be free is to owe nothing to anyone save those you love. To those worthy and deserving of your love, give your love and be willing to give your life.
We are all living in Shawshank. It is up to each of us to find Redemption.
