That is what will happen. We've created an unsustainable ponzi scheme predicated on the young paying for the old. Health care prices will collapse, but not due to recognition of KD's points - prices will collapse due to the young shutting off the spigot. At 20% of the economy that will be a huge restructuring which will destroy many people's lives. The old would be ok if it happened quickly as prices would become affordable, but it will be drawn out and forced by the lack of demand from those who need the care but cannot afford it. 2015-06-04 18:20:31
