After a thread back in the early summer on the same topic and some kind soul pointing me to MarksDailyApple.com, I've managed to drop from 196 to 164. At 5'9", that's pretty close to where my weight should be. I definitely feel a lot better, sleep better, and find my mood is more stable without the refined carbs and most starch in general. I've also been regularly working out with heavy kettlebells, which has helped me start developing muscle definition that I've never had before. I'm about to have to buy new clothes - my shirts are tight in the shoulders and arms, and I've lost 5 belt notches on my jeans (which makes them fall off my ass when I'm at the urinal). I probably won't lose much, if any more weight, but I expect things to continue to tighten up. I may even go for my HKC certification later this year.

And Karl is right about the, ahem, other aspects of weight loss and improved health.
