If you are highly stressed (like me), you may also want to combine social time and exercise time. I play sports at least four times a week now (I'm trying to get to 5.5 days averaged over the month). I have dropped from 228 to 210 pounds since October and my target is 170. The issue is settling on a proper diet without busting the bank, but this weight has gone simply by being more physically active. My knees were beginning to get upset and that was the last straw for me. Since it is a social activity for me, I find it easier to go even when I feel too tired to do so.

There is NO good time to do it. You just have to start. Tomorrow. I had to stop making excuses and do what I could. I chuckle at the folks talking about their gun collection and they can't run 100 feet in the woods.
