Rowdypeasant. Another thing. A hot toddy at bedtime may help with the night time coughing. Honey, lemon juice and whiskey. Amounts are your option, but I'd you use enough whiskey everything seems better. (Smile and wink.) If I do this I put these three items in a mug of lemon herb tea and add a couple of lemon cough drops (make sure they dissolve because you don't want to choke on them). You may find sleeping in a recliner with your head elevated helps with breathing and drainage. Good luck.
