"Perhaps in San Mateo county we will soon find out if 100% (except for me) vaccinated will stop Covid"

Greetings, Robackrman; I'm down the road in Santa Clara county. I just went to the county website to see what percentage here are vaccinated. As of August 2nd, 78.2 percent of the population of the county (age 12 and over) have been fully vaccinated (84.3 percent with one shot). So - how do they know who has had it, and who hasn't? I guess I'm in a database for this. I wonder when there will be a knock on the door.

So - assuming these stats are real - about 15 percent of the adults I see are not vaccinated at all, and another 7 percent may have buyer's remorse. We need a secret handshake.

From buddys wife that battled it as long as he could with ivermectin and whatever else.

Tough day today, but he is slowly improved and has a better mask with better oxygenation this PM. This morning they told us once again they were going yo put him on vent. Xxxxx was here and went and got the Director and told her all the medicines they had missed, all of the things I had been doing wrong, they werent watching him well enough, and they werent giving his medicine at night ! When I got here at the supervisor of ICU called me and tried to soft touch and I gave her the business too myself!!! We have truly had a hard time with this place, please God take care of my husband its what I say throughout the day and throughout the night, because these people or too short staffed!

For now I am holding my emotions hoping these mandates are all bark and no bite. If mass resignations and mass layoffs start happening then the country will be in a very bad place, not that the current situation is any good.

I don't think the vaccine casualties will be noticed. But the # of people committed to not being vaccinated is huge.

@Tickerguy --- Looks like you are being vindicated.

"First case of postmortem study in a patient vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2"

While they say it's the first post mortem study I am inclined believe its the first PUBLISHED post mortem released for public viewing insomuch as there have been so many questionable deaths surrounding the injections.

Anyway it has a couple of points in the abstract that are interesting.

1.Spike protein(S1) antigen-binding showed significant levels for immunoglobulin(Ig)G, while nucleocapsid IgG/IgM was not elicited.

2.These results might suggest that the first vaccination induces immunogenicity but not sterile immunity

Interesting choice of words I thought. Rather like I have read that somewhere else.

IF and/or when COVID shots are mandatory for all military personnel and those who refuse are given dishonorable discharges... that would produce a heart pounding scenario. Better to just make their lives miserable by curtailing leave status for them and family members. Build the pressure and keep it on.
But who knows at this point.

Nah, it'll be fine.

I have hesitated to relay anecdotal information to our group, however, I was thinking today of a woman I knew very well many years ago who suffered from an aneurysm and subsequently recovered after insertion of a clip during brain surgery. To almost everyone, she seemed no different than before. But, to me, there was a subtle shift in personality that I could sense but not describe. It could be due to the isolation from lockdowns and subsequent restart of socialization, however, a few people I have interacted with recently that are vaccinated also seem different to me. Crazy? Then, two weekends ago, I was in Las Vegas at an antique store where a woman (the proprietor) who my wife knew for years did not recognize us. She was otherwise walking around the store and assisting customers in what appeared to mostly be her usual manner but with a detectable, to us, odd look on her face. We were stunned. Something happened to her. When we were last there in May she mentioned that she had just been vaccinated. It could be in this case a coincidence, but these sort of odd experiences are adding up.

Hi neighbor! We will not require a secret handshake because soon (after the booster shots) we will be among the few left standing that can speak coherently. It will be nice when Big Sur is not crowded, like the old days, with just a few unvaccinated people about ;-)

I have two military sons. They will not be vaccinated. For now they have not seen the jab or dischsrge yet. Not saying it will not come but not yet.

Howrver, one will not be billeted on a cutter as has been his training for the last year. They have spent a bunch on his electronics training and he is good, and a hard smart worker. They will lose critical jobs when even a small percentage refuse. This will put undeway boats, planes and such in jeopardy and danger. That is on them. I am not sure they will get discharged, heck the active duty recruiting is way down from what I read. And the Guard is hurting bad one son tells me. Not sure the military can afgord forced vaxx. But then aga in they are not firing on all cylindes these days. It will take 10% or les to refuse to criplle them IMHO. And part of the pushback is coming from wives and husbsnfs who are not military.

@Imhotep What the director of ICU was trying to do is deflect a complaint to the state medical boards and a resulting investigation. Thats why it is imperative to have someone who can advocate for you when you go to the hospital. Medical mistakes aren't the third leading cause of deaths for nothing.

Short anecdote -- Friend of ours, a kidney transplant patient, went in for a bladder infection. She is immunosuppresed. While she was inside she developed blood in the urine. She was on statins for cholesterol levels.

Turns out that there was a Nephrology team team following her because of her transplant status. They never cross referenced the orders from her physicians and were double dosing her statin medication. The nursing staff were blithely administering the dosage without a question. My wife questioned the bloody urine and lo and behold when the chart was consulted. Ooops so sorry. Dosage corrected and bloody urine cleared up.

My wife and I were in the room when the Nephrology team rolled through and one of the DR's commented to our friend
"Boy you dodged a bullet this time"

My wife observed, paraphrasing now
"If you wouldn't keep putting a bullet in the f**k**g gun and pulling the GD trigger no one would have to dodge anything now would they."

Silence. Just got wide eyed stares from the Nephrologist. Probably was wondering if his malpractice insurance was up to date.

It's been a bad year the next one will probably be worse.

Personally, I think that the % vaccinated is overstated. They want you to feel alone and out of step with "the normal crowd" so you will get the jab. I mean come on, they just happened to reach their stated goal of 70% with all this contrary risk data out there. In my office I have 6 employees, none vaccinated. Of mom,me and 5 kids only one is vacinated. So in my direct circle we are 1 out of 13. Jyst my opinion of course.

Zev Zelenko has been quite outspoken about what is going on.

This is genocide, on a global scale. Children are being offered as sacrificial victims.

It goes further:
Humanity itself is being sacrificed to appease some deity. The means of destruction is incidental. Death and destruction are end points.

Nations are under judgement for past sins - abortion, sexual perversion, murder, greed, avarice, worshiping false gods.

This wave of death has been very well described in literature. Christians understand chaos before Jesus returns. Other religions also understand the return of an important being - Judaism, Islam, Hinduism.

Fauci, Gates, Soros, Tedros, Schwab, and their ilk, are pawns, and agents of mass death. This is simple to observe - propaganda, media control, rising vax death rates, terror... Yet, nothing is done to calm nations. This is pure and simple - a war on humanity.

Time to get our lives in order. Time seems to be short.

I know I am not alone in that I am in no position to just avoid the coming shit storm. I can't retire, my net worth is not high, I don't own my own business, I planned on working until retirement age at least.

I honestly do not see that happening. The amount of garbage that is being used as information and data is astonishing to me. I know "friends" that will never force me to get the jab, but I guarantee they will stand back and watch as someone else does. My job will cave to the mandate pressure soon I'm sure, and I don't doubt at all my roommates and/or landlord will use it against me also.

As I have said before, "Fear the one who has nothing to lose, and for sure don't be one of the people that put them there."

Going to be an interesting month.

The effective vaccination rate is low and declining. And of those who did the first round of shots, a good percentage will decline for another cycle.

The vaccine push serves the tyrannical purpose of empowering the "state" and of shifting blame. It is the means for the technocrats to go on the offense to hide the reality they are selling snake oil.

The Delta wave will be over in weeks. But we know winter is coming and the Communists are determined to use Covid & corporate medicine to conform the population to its whim.

But stay strong. Trust God. Trust the good that exists in fellow Americans. This conspiracy will collapse and unfortunately many more innocent will be hurt in that calamity. But from the ashes the fire of freedom will triumph.

Those people are evil to the core. Once someone hits 70, they have a roughly 3% chance of dying in the next 18 months. At 80, this increases to roughly 10%. These are about the same as the published Covid case fatality rates for these groups. BUT, we know 80% of the population was immune 18 months ago, and even more have natural immunity today.

So for every one grandparent "saved" by not seeing their grandchildren (which is bullshit anyway, since this assumes 0% risk if they don't see them, but 100% risk if they do), five grandparents will die without never seeing their grandchildren again. And the real number is probably more like a 50:1 ratio when you consider the actual risk profile, and the fact that not seeing their grandchildren is adding an inordinate amount of stress to their lives, which destroys their immune systems and everything else that is good.

Yep @Bluto.

As I pointed out very early on how do you "make it up" to someone who you force to die alone? Their clock runs out in the interim and it does not matter why -- it has happened, and that's that.

You took something you can't repay.

And those who did -- and do -- that should have something of equal anguish taken from them forever. That sounds vindictive, but that's not the purpose.

The purpose is deterrence.

The difference between "kill" and "murder" is that murder, as a subset of kill, is undeserved by the deceased.

Robackrman, your anecdote about the woman you know who seems "different" after being vaccinated really upsets me, because I have been seeing a lot of cognitive decline in people I know after they have had the shot. I am mainly noticing it in the smartest people; they can't think as they used to (perhaps the less smart people are driveling more, but I've always tried not to listen to them much, so I can't say). By any reasonable standard these intelligent people are okay, but not compared with how they were. They were really, really, really smart before. Now they are just really smart.

These are people who were far smarter than me (and tolerated my drivel, no doubt). But they are going downhill. I don't want this to be the case; I would rather not be smarter due to their decline. This is not a gift to me. I feel like I am going to be the genius from Idiocracy.

I have always had a horrible memory; just terrible. I do very well on standardized tests and can reason, but I can't remember anything. I have a friend who is 72 y.o. who has an astounding memory. Until now. Yesterday I was able to recall a religious term that he couldn't. He told me, "don't grow old!" I wanted to scream. It's not his age; it is almost certainly the vaccination.

In the case of people who are less smart, what I am seeing is that their facial expressions are different after being vaccinated. They look blander, and slightly fearful. There are also people whom I see on zoom, who don't say much, so I can't tell how well they are mentally. They look terrible, just awful; their faces have aged tremendously.

It is possible that these effects are due to people being infected by covid itself, before or after their vaccination. I can't rule that out. I don't know enough people who haven't been vaccinated to have a comparison group. But even if it turns out that this is due to infection (rather than vaccination), it is clear that the vaccination is not preventing it.

I was hoping I was imagining this, so I am not happy to get confirmation.

@Hobbled --From what I have read, the closer to the tip of spear, the lower the percentage who have taken the eugenics shots.

I don't think any "mandate" is going to go over too well in certain "communities".

The long-term effect of a Covid-19 infection could include a drop in intelligence, according to new research.

Between January and December last year, scientists conducted the Great British Intelligence Test that examined the IQ of 81,337 people.

Among that number were 13,000 who had been infected with the virus.

Once the scientists had factored out things like age, sex, language and education level, they found people recovering from Covid saw the biggest decline.

Tasks requiring problem solving, planning and reasoning were harder for them than for people who hadnt had the virus.

In the worst cases, when people had been on a ventilator to beat the disease, the researchers recorded a seven-point drop in intelligence.

The data was collected together and published in a study called: Cognitive Deficits In People Who Have Recovered From COVID-19′.

It was published in the medical journal the Lancet and involved researchers from Imperial College London, Kings College and the Universities of Cambridge, Southampton and Chicago.
