The odds of you having had covid that early are miniscule, lottery winning small. Possible, yes, but almost certainly not.

However, the H1N1 flu variant was all over the place at that time. My family had it and it was very, very nasty, definitely in the top 2 or 3 worst illnesses I've ever had. It replicated most of the symptoms of covid quite well too. This was confirmed by testing.

I've also had covid now, but without the respiratory symptoms, I was lucky. The only way I can confirm this was the total loss of smell that was due to covid. Not stuffy nose "I can't smell good" but clear nose/sinuses and there were simply no odors at all. It was very, vey weird and entirely unmistakable for anything else.

I also had another unusual symptom. While my sense of smell was gone, I was constantly smelling cigarette smoke that wasn't there. I quit smoking 2.5 years ago and there was no actual smoke there - this was neurological. When my sense of smell started coming back about a week later, this went away.
