The only bright spot I have seen here is the weather has now changed for the summer; no more 30 degree nights as it was over the past couple of weeks. People are saying "Fuck all this" and paying little more than lip service to many of the bullshit arbitrary "regulations." I honestly feel that the warmer it gets, the more this will happen, Scolding Karens or not.

My personal deliverance was when my in-laws, specifically my stereotypical Boomer Karen mother-in-law, finally had enough and drove the 2 hours to visit us. She straight-up told my wife "I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE STUPID VIRUS ANY MORE, I WANT MY LIFE BACK AND TO SEE MY GRANDKIDS!" If that can happen ... well, I think the tipping point might finally have been reached. It's not gallows on the capital steps, but it's a start.
