This is one of the most-outrageously disgusting displays of flat-out partisanship I've seen in a long time -- and it's coming from the one place that this nation cannot afford it.

Let me remind you that (as Kagan points out) The Supreme Court has no guns and no army.  It relies on credibility, so Kagan says.  Of course she's lying -- it also relies on a phalanx of alleged "cops" -- including the FBI, all of them heavily armed, never mind the root of the Supreme Court's credibility: The Constitution.

But to state the court's credibility rests in the Constitution would be to invite an immediate revolution, and Kagan knows it -- for she has exactly zero intent toward, nor has she ever, demonstrated fidelity to same -- and neither has the Court in general for more than 100 years running.  In fact her and Sotomayer's entire premise upon the court, which has been made abundantly clear, is that the Constitution is a "living" document subject to the whims of the people sitting behind the USSC's bench.

This is an outrageous fraud that all members of the court (never mind so-called "law" professors) have rendered over the years and shoved down the American people's throat.

That this is a fraud is inherent in the Constitution itself for the Constitution provides explicit means by which it can be amended -- and thus puts the lie to any claim that such an "interpretation" is either correct or necessary.

Of course Kagan's argument devolves into the ugly reality that if the court's credibility is lost and you discern that the "enforcers" of said decisions intend to shoot your only remaining options are to die quietly or shoot first and die messily and loudly.

That's a crappy bargain but it's the one we've got and in fact it's the one Kagan just laid out herself.

The outrageous part of Kagan's words is that she excuses being the far-left wing along with Sotomayer, refusing to take any responsibility for being so.  In other words the responsibility to be a "centrist" and "toe the line" never rests with her, only with other people.

That's the mark of a tyrant; you do it, not me, I'll do whatever the hell I want.  In the context of a Supreme Court justice it is also a blatant violation of one's oath of office, a literal middle finger to the Constitution, and thus a demand for impeachment.

But of course we know that neither side of the aisle has any desire to enforce the Constitution and its boundaries as written -- we merely argue over which part of the Constitution, and we the people, will be raped blind on any given day.

So Kagan you go right ahead and try to run your thuggery -- let's see how it works out.

Comity is not a one-way street and if you think it is you're in for a rude surprise.  And by the way, Sotomayer looks like death.  What the hell is it with leftists -- she knows damn well she must not allow herself to become and remain fat, as she's a Type I diabetic yet she is at least double the healthy body mass of someone of her height and gender.  Down the road she has chosen lies misery, bankruptcy and death -- well, the middle for anyone other than her.  For her, of course, she gets to make other people pay for her carb-laden lifestyle, chasing same with monopolist-priced insulin you are forced to pay for and since she will not stop eating like a ****ing sow the eventual bill for the cut off hands and feet will also not be hers -- that bill too will be yours.

Never forget that she literally has the ability to vote herself money out of your pocket to pay for medical treatment and drugs that she has brought upon herself due to her own elective choice to stuff her pie hole.

A diabetic eating carbohydrates and being fat is no different than a junkie shooting heroin or a drunk grabbing a bottle of whiskey and demanding you pay for it plus, when they destroy their health, demanding you pay the hospital and other medical bills too.

Sotomayer ought to get a big **** you in response to that and be forced to cough up her own money for her own medical care -- in cash, at today's monopolist price.  Perhaps then she'd have an appreciation for what everyone else puts up with in this country.  But no!  She's perfectly happy and feels entitled to stick the boot on your neck and rob you -- literally.

Should the Supreme Court be considered legitimate given all this -- including Kagan's public refutation of her Oath of Office and Oath to the Constitution?  Oh Hell no.  Every single citizen of the United States ought to be erecting a big fat middle finger -- here and now.

If the court doesn't like this reality then the "Just-us"es can either alter their behavior, starting with Kagan and Sotomayer, or attempt to enforce their jackbooted tyranny and see if it works out for them.

Maybe it will and maybe it won't but there's something to be said for having actual skin in the game instead of forcing other people to take your risk and pay your bills.

Sotomayer undoubtedly has "double diabetes", in that she's a Type 1 and Type 2 at the same time.

It's unfortunate that Type 1 and Type 2 are both called "diabetes" as the conditions are anywhere close to one another. A Type 1 cannot produce insulin and must rely upon injected insulin to control blood sugar (injected insulin does an extremely poor job of it but that's another story). Type 2 is a condition caused by severe insulin resistance... these people's pancreases are pumping out high levels of insulin in a failing effort to keep blood sugar levels low and are failing.

Type 1 is a wasting disease. Insulin is actually a growth hormone, without it muscles waste away. One of the key symptoms of Type 1 is that the person is unable to store body fat because insulin is the fat storage hormone. No insulin ---> no body fat, no muscles and death. This is not Sotomayer as she obviously has a lot of body fat. In her case her crap diet undoubtedly full of carbs and vegetable oils along with the injected insulin necessary to "cover" her high blood sugar levels have left her insulin resistant and a Type 2 as well.

The fix for both conditions, as you mentioned, is to stop eating carbs and vegetable oils. I have several Type 1 friends who have gone this way and now control their blood sugar with ease... I've seen the readouts from their continuous glucose monitors. I also know several people who have reversed their Type 2 by the same method.

The thing with Sotomayer is that because she's insulin resistant she's also at high risk for a disease that's also called "Type 3" diabetes... Alzheimer's. It would not shock me in the least to discover that cognitive issues (perhaps even extreme liberalism) are caused by hormone driven cognitive issues. I'm not saying there's solid evidence for this but it sure would explain a lot.

But @Lunatic_fringe, if you do that you can't send someone else the bill (because there isn't one) and, more-importantly, you can't claim to be a victim either!

I have been wondering how a Type I could be the size she is. I have extended family with Type 1, and they struggle to keep weight on (they also have a diet of meat and veggies and are pretty compliant).

The type II in my wife's family eat rice and chips for three means a day, since "They are not carbs!!!" My MiL is showing signs of dementia, so that is not good.

You eat like a ****ing sow and slam your body with insulin, which screws you both in all holes. And, since you're a Just-US, you can make someone else pay for that intentional series of acts and the inevitable consequences.

Ginsburg should have been impeached years ago. She grossly violated her oath even by the degraded standard of the U.S. Judicial Branch of government.

https://www.dailysignal.com/2012/02/08/j....

https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=yout....

Ginsburg has survived cancers, pancreatic and colon, and she has heart problems. Did you see her Monday night at the White House during the official swearing in of Kavanaugh? She looked just like I want her to look--- like I want all haters of the Bill of Rights to look.

The professional knife twisting artist, Donald Trump, did a super job at the Monday night swearing in ceremony. I rate the Donald's performance a big, fat 10. A spectacular speech that should not be missed. And it was so obvious that the GOP leadership present at the ceremony has gotten a taste of Democrat blood, and they like it. Good! I hope to see more.

Speaking of a thirst for blood: I think Grim is going to be doing some twisting and scything of his own before too long. And The Donald might just turn out to be Grim's right hand man.

Off topic: I hope the Pan Handle doesn't look like the Bay of Bangladesh by this weekend. Prepare accordingly.

That makes sense TG. Just the amount at the trough is hard to get my head around. My cousins son is 19, and he can't hold weight with Type I.

And we don't feed sows that kind of crap. Sows take a close ration of protein, carbs, fiber, and some premixes to keep them and the piglets healthy!

From experience, they have a lot more muscle than fat. Trying to convince an 800 lb sow to go to someplace she doesn't want to is a pain.

I agree, Karl. The entire medical system is a joke. Obamacare forces people to participate in a pyramid scheme at hugely inflated prices and to top it off the medical advice that's given is actually detrimental to your health.

The people clamoring that "healthcare is a right" just aren't thinking straight if they're thinking at all.

Interesting comment this morning on Santomayor, I saw a picture of her recently and noted how unhealthy she is. I think I knew she had Diabetes but was not aware that you could have both Types at the same time. My guess is her Latino Diet is doing her in and my question is why she doesn't change her diet.

There she is getting the Gold Cadillac standard of Health Care and have her doctors tried to advise her? Scalia also had diabetes, Type II I believe, and he did not do a damn thing for his health either. The old adage you can lead a horse to water plays out there. Those people don't care enough to even do the basics to help themselves.

I am Type II and I try to stay on my Low Carb/No Carb Diet, I exercise every day and recently made changes to diet, I was having too many dairy products and red meat, so they are out. I walk at least 2.5 miles everyday and I am now taking Tau Chi classes which I find are great and certainly help my stress/anxiety. I am a full time care give for my 92 year old Aunt and have my hands full.

s for the weather I hope everyone will be safe and take the necessary precautions.

The left doesn't give a crap about law or democracy unless they suit its own interests.

If this court is now radically right, it would rule on birthright citizenship, abortion, existing gun control laws, property taxation, eminent domain, etc etc. None of that is going to happen, especially as Kav is out virtue signalling over his historic, all-female law-clerk staff.

There is an easily implementable solution to all of this. Just make the Washington Elite enroll for medical care at the Tomah, Wisconsin VA Hospital! That place has been a notorious snake pit for decades. One of the recent top administrators there had their state medical license yanked. Wisconsin Senator Tammy Baldwin has known about this place, and has done nothing to stop any of the chicanery. I think she might have a different attitude if she was dependent on the place for her and her family's medical care.

No need for term limits, just let them experience the same level of care that us veterans get. They will die out like flies just like we are!

Who in the hell told you there is something wrong with red meat? Here's my guarantee to you... eat nothing but red meat and adopt an intermittent fasting protocol (fast for 16 hours and eat only during an 8 hour window each day) and your Type 2 will be the best it's ever been, you may even reverse it.

The ultimate health food is a steak. I'm not ****ting you. Avoid all foods that are derived from plants and you'll be on your way.

LF,'

After some research I found that too much Red Meat may not be good, now I have to cut it down, maybe not totally give it up but right now eat a lot less than what I was. I have to get that cholesterol level down and I think within three months I will be where I need to be. I do appreciate the advice and will delve into that a little more.

Cholesterol is not harmful.

Inflammation, on the other hand, is.

Karl my Triglyceride level was 410, I have to get that down. I just read about a guy the other day way worse than me, TRI level was 4100. Anyway right now I need to try and cope with this and get things under control.

My late Cousin's even later husband knew that diabetes ran in his family. Despite this, his favorite activity was sitting on the couch, watching their big screen television, petting the cats, and eating Cheetos. Like too many other diabetics, he refused to eat right, until his kidneys shut down. That got his attention! So, his doctor put him on an intensive low carb diet, that my Cousin was in charge of preparing, and the effort wrecked the healing process of the surgeries that she had on both arms. He then came down with liver cancer and colon cancer, and had the surgery on the colon cancer and didn't make it.

His youngest daughter saw all of this happening, and is at least 150 pounds overweight. Does she take care of herself via proper diet? Hell no!

I have watched a number of diabetic friends die, and it is truly a miserable way to go. But far too many of them refuse to eat a low carb diet, and suffer the consequences of that.

Jfms99, there are medical conditions that lead to elevated triglycerides. Have you gotten blood tests for other possible issues (including liver and thyroid problems)? Also, how's the booze intake (booze elevates trigs)?

I agree that cholesterol is not a big concern and vegetable oils are liquid death. The only oils I use anymore are coconut oil, olive oil and the bacon grease I cook my eggs in. All of my lipid levels are outstanding.

Like Karl wrote inflammation is a big concern and an important marker in disease. Two inflammation markers that are measured during my yearly blood tests are homocysteine and c-reactive protein. It's vital to keep these as low as possible.

There is a correlation between LDL-C and heart disease but it's not the way you think. According to a study of the NHANES3 data low LDL-C cholesterol gave you a higher risk of heart disease than high cholesterol. And there have been many population studies showing that people with high cholesterol live longer on average than people with low cholesterol.

And then there's the work of Dave Feldman who shows that cholesterol levels can be changed qite quickly but once again not in the way you think. Take a gander at this video.

The easiest rule of thumb for heart health is the triglyceride to HDL ratio. You want it under 2 and you want your trigs to be under 100.

In my opinion the best test for heart disease and other chronic disease is HOMA-IR which is fasting insulin times fasting blood sugar divided by 405. A score under 1.0 is really good... a score over 2.0 means you're headed for trouble.

Eating a lot of red meat will improve both these scores.

Over the weekend I met a young woman, not yet 30, who from the neck up looked like a normal human being. Below the neck, she looked like Jabba the Hutt. I weigh 200, 6'4. She was no more than 5'5 and had to be 400 lbs if she was an ounce. Her gut draped down to her knees.

It was actually sickening to look at her. I'm sure she'll meet a medically intensive and very unpleasant, expensive ending, well before she should.
