I have been doing that math for a long time Karl. You are one of the few people out there that raises the issue. Where does the money from education go? In fact, where did the education go?

As for the cited statistics, they have been going on for a long time. Prior to Chicago being murder city, it was Detroit and DC. I guess DC got so full of stolen money they no longer have to shoot each other in such numbers.

I read the mortality statistics of the US back about 20 years ago in response to so much emphasis being put on murder then. I knew, from what I had read that the murder rate in the US had declined significantly between 1970 and the early 1990's. I ran the entire tables in a search to see how many men and women were living at various ages compared to how many were born. The black mortality statistics were separate and between accidents and murder, black males were eliminated in sizable numbers between birth and 25 years old. White people have a higher propensity to kill themselves.

What this guy doesn't want out is the government is creating most of this mess. You can't continue to levy the economy with massive welfare state/racketeering/organized crime fees and expect people to get a job. There was a report recently on the cost of regulation and it has gone through the room under the current Fascist administration. Clearly the establishment Republicans, which this guy is likely a member, have no interest in fixing this problem. When society becomes a group of motherfucking thieves, organized from the top down, it shouldn't be a surprise society itself becomes largely criminal.

The real question here is, why the attack on you? Is it one more attempt to brand a potential political fly in the ointment opponent of the establishment a racist? isn't that the norm of the day? Don't they brand the tea party people racists? Isn't the real deal the maintenance of the status quo of a few organized government linked criminals looting the rest of us? This guy might bear investigation.

Look at page 11. White mortality from assault, .4% of deaths. Black, 2.7%.

Over twice as many whites kill themselves, 1.7% to .7%, which might mean white people have a tendency to take their violence out on themselves rather than others. I guess you can't make the point blacks are stupid, because it appears they can identify the enemy better than whites.

The point is this stuff has been documented for a long time. Is this guy just running off at the keyboard?

KD- is Medicare spending included in your cost estimate or just Medicaid for bottom 20% you mentioned. I would think there would be significant social security disability costs within that population cohort but don't know the number off hand.

I suspect a great portion of that 46K per bottom quintile is supporting a 1er% somewhere else in a way the free market never would.

Having my shop located where it was prior to where it is now I saw this first hand. I've personally known quite a few non whites in da hood who fucked up when they were young. And YES they have in fact paid their debt to society...there should be a mechanism to have ones record expunged after a time so they may move on with life and get with the program. I posted a reply on that site. Not that Karl needs help defending himself but because it's pathetic that you can't call black on black crime for what it is without being called racist. I would guess that if you grew up in Inglewood or South LA you'd have no problem recognizing black on black crime.

I get that it's harder to be black and I'm glad I am not for that reason. There are many racists and they'd look at you with insincerity. That's true, and life can suck.

If I were black, as many blacks have done and continue to do, I'd find a way to survive and prosper. I sure wouldn't want help from liberal whites. It would be degrading.

One topic of Gen's theory of not everyone starving in the streets, is that not everyone will starve in the streets. If you want to survive you come up with ways to survive. A lot of good would come out of bringing oneself up from the FSA.

When I read topics about this stuff I always think of people coming from 3rd world countries that make a living in the States. Yet people who were born here are being kept down? I don't believe that for a second.

Shapiro, you raise a good point about being black. One of the biggest strikes against being black is the stigma of being black. I guess you can reverse the roles, if you were white and found yourself in a black world. The one person that isn't color blind is likely the one who is a different color amongst others. I have been there a time or 2 with black people, Mexicans and Asians. That said, it is only a temporary situation with me.

Of course this isn't about being black so much as it is able political policy that has failed black people and the country. Organized theft through government is hard to stop. YouTube a guy named Mike Carroll for a different black view of this subject. Blacks don't even run the business in their neighborhood.

Kind of like Holder suggesting Black male students should be given a pass for bad behavior that non blacks would be punished for - when there is an EMPIRICAL correlation between school aged black males being punished for bad behavior that virtually mimics incarceration rates for adult black males - not racist, fact. We can argue about the causes of the racial discrepancy in punishment rates - I blame Johnson - but the fact remains, blacks are their own worst enemy in the U.S. If I were to live in a country as a distinct racial minority, say S.A., I would recognize that I have a choice - assimilate, or LEAVE, I would never think that as 13% of the population I could force my will on the majority... eventually you will get DEAD with that game plan...
