The libertarians have been ignoring god, gays, and abortion for years, and leading with fiscal issues. It has gotten them precisely nowhere.

There's a reason libertarians / fiscal conservatives have lost and lost and lost consistently - they promise not to steal and hand it out to their buddies. Elections are advance auctions on stolen goods, and those that promise not to steal lose instantly, which is where the TP is going I fear.
