FLASH - ISM down (big)

Employment down, ISM down to 52.4 from 54.3, expectation was for 56.

This is a huge miss.

Factory orders up February 1%, consensus expected up 2% - again, a big miss.

This is three consecutive months of bad ISM reports and this has very high correlation with a recession in the coming six months.

Also, this is the second month in a row that large businesses shed jobs; the justification is that "large firms are under more global competition."

This is not good news....

Factory orders ex-transportation were also down net month-over-month.

So we now have the yield curve inverted, a slowdown in industrial production and orders, and loss of jobs among big companies.

Hmmmm.... I wonder what's in the offing on all that news?
