Bizarre Open Ahead
 
Oil's up strongly pushing towards $74, same-store sales not all that hot. Walmart comes in hot (good) but many other stores warning or outright posting losses.

Nonetheless the futures are up strongly indicating a higher open, well above fair value.

Oh, June is the second-strongest month of the year for retail. On that basis, the numbers weren't "tepid", they were bad!

But heh, the band plays on. See the posts here last night for what's coming.

The water has gone out and there's a lot of free fish flopping around on the sand! Cool! Let's run out there and get some!
