There is no evidence the government wants to solve this problem inexpensively. Instead, it wishes to inconvenience the most number of people by destroying their businesses, requiring them to mask-up and socially distance, and requiring them to take multiple vaccines, perhaps on a yearly basis. The longer the crisis continues, the more the despots can violate the Constitution and issue orders without legislative action. The insanity stops when the people stop complying with worthless edicts and demand real action.
