I didn't know there was such a law. I think it is a quote from Atlas Shrugged, in someone's signature around here about making everyone a criminal because you can't rule an innocent man.

Thank you Karl. You are giving me ammunition to use when I try to explain to people that we've gone as far as we can as a society due to having too many laws.
It is obvious that the machine wants to be able to tell you what you can and can't put in your body, what you can and can't say, and who you can and can't associate with (i.e. participate in a boycott).
The state we are in right now can't be a long-term steady-state as this nonsense will collapse under its own weight. The real question is what do we end up with?

Flap, we end up with a cluster****.
More relevant at that point would be who survives, and how willing are they to FIGHT for what's right, or just go along with the "As long as I keep my head low, they won't bother me" crowd.

I had no idea about those obscure laws you cited.
We should probably pass a rule that three (or thirty) laws need to be repealed for each new one created.
My only input, Karl, is to suggest wearing something with a collar when you do these videos. First impressions are important and the first impression I got was a (skinny... LOL) guy sitting in front of the camera in a T-shirt!

Unless there has been an actual conviction that withstood constitutional scrutiny, I have to assume that these are just a bunch of laws that, like so many others, were put on the books to make some constituent happy without any real belief that they would ever be applied.
It is quite irritating that so many laws get passed with such blatant disregard for the Constitution. There is, of course, a chilling effect from such laws even if no one seriously believes they would withstand constitutional scrutiny. No one wants to take the small risk of losing or be bothered with the legal expenses even if victory is assured. However, unless you're in a particularly idealistic mood I doubt this rises to the level of being a battle worth fighting given all the other problems.
I'll immediately change my mind if there is an example of a conviction that stands.

Well I usually do wear a collared shirt and tie. This time I decided to do it "casual."

As far as presentation goes, the intro splash seems very dated and the dark music, well, sucks to the point of sounding like a parody of itself. Kids on youtube are putting out videos with far better intros even if their content sucks. I don't know what tools kids are using for the spiffy intros to their videos, but they work pretty well and I must admit they often trick me into mistakenly believing the content itself will be equally well produced. It can be shocking to see such fantastic intros followed by such utter crap content.

Agree on the law being wrong but I also have the right to call out individuals/groups that support groups like Hamas (code pink and the like) to be destroyed by any legal means possible. Boycotts is a means to achieve distruction.
The real issue was Israel had a chance to finish this war once and for all in 67 and 73, US interfered and prevented Israel from militarily crushing the Arabs because of US's dependence on oil. US was a part in creating this mess wanting Arab oil and now they own the conflict.
We need thorium reactors for energy to send the Arabs and Persians back to stone age and stop financing them and their outreach groups all over the world.

Not only should we not have laws punishing those who do not want to trade with Israel, but we should stop supplying 30% of Israel's budget - a country where 60% of the religious extremists (Hasids) are on welfare and do not work at all.
How is this in any way libertarian?

Congrats. Nice job. I lost about the same amount back in 2009 and have kept it off. I don't eat perfect, but exercise is now a part of my life and it's allowed me to maintain.
I knew you were down some but you looked really thin in this video.
No man crush lol I just understand what goes into that kind of life transformation and I'm happy when i see others do it.

How many attacks have Hasids carried out? What about the money that goes to the Arabs and the protection we offer them, Ron Paul I think says its four times as much as to the Jews. Cut the Arabs money off all of it (food aid for the jihadi children included) then you can cut the money of from Israel. Otherwise you by only giving money to the jihadis are clearly showing a preference.

86 you must have missed a few threads. Gen has done it the old fashioned way. Diet and exercise. His diet resembles the maintenance phase of the Atkins diet or the South Beach diet.
Myself I'm down 15 lbs from Xmas doing the same thing. Trying to drop 5 lbs a month for the next 6 months that will ger me within a few lbs of my high school basketball weight.

Dude no I saw some. I'm a big believer that weight loss without exercise is not sustainable and it's mostly a calorie in vs calorie burned model if you want to see long term results. I ride about 70 miles a week on the road bike and it has been a blessing for my weight.
Honestly I just didn't know gen had been that successful until I saw some recent pics.

I'll immediately change my mind if there is an example of a conviction that stands. The most egregious example of such laws is ObamaCare's individual mandate. The enforcement of which has been handed to the IRS, causing "the greatest expansion of the Internal Revenue Service since World War II." By hiring some 16,500 agents, needed to "collect, examine and audit new tax information mandated on families and small businesses." Something tells me this one is going to be enforced. http://washingtonexaminer.com/politics/b....

I am of the thought that weight loss is mostly diet. Maintaining the weight is mostly exercise. At least that's how it works for me.

An interesting bit of knowledge that I gained to is, amazingly enough, related to Israel.
What is the Biblical name of the "west bank" that the Palestians claim as thiers? Judea. The power of language is not to be underestimated. I'm sure the Palestians don't say "the Jews don't belong in Judea" on purpose.

Heh, talk about a wrench in the Libertarian's gears, talking about freedom of association. I assume most Libertarians that are see injustice in special rules against discriminating against Israel are also of the opinion that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (as it pertains to private persons and businesses) as well as the various and sundry "Equal Opportunity" laws are also illegal and immoral?
For the record, I recognize said Civil Rights Act laws as illegal and immoral... but boy, talk about a can of worms for Joe Sixpack! :)

Karl, I'm 140.2 pounds in the morning was around 136.4 last summer. I'm 5-11 You do not look skinny at all. I was over 170 when I joined here, close to 175. The energy levels are crazy when you get closer to 140, even from 150. Also percentage of muscle mass is higher when you work out, and lose weight. 170 pounds 40% muscle mass=68 pounds of muscle. 140 pounds at 50% muscle mass= 70 pounds of muscle. Average for men is 40-50%. Anyways enough of that, that was one of your best videos on youtube ever, thank you!!!

http://mises.org/document/4685/Our-Enemy....Alfred Jay Nock's Our Enemy the State. This should back up what Karl is stating. Whether you consider Israel a good cause or not, the question is whether we should alter the Constitution to favor Israel, take hard earned money from all Americans to support it and go to the extreme to insinuate we would go to war or engage in war in favor of Israel. The US State department has alienated much of the world with our Israel policy, squandered Trillions of dollars and now passed Sedition Acts in favor of the Israeli state. The one thing Karl is doing is exposing Mr. Johnson as an establishment pig and not a Libertarian. We need to welcome people into the Libertarian movement, but not at the expense of destroying the real purpose of the movement, which is to regain the liberty of the average American, remove the looters from government and honor our God given rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, regardless of whether that pursuit is politically correct or not. The Israeli state was a creation of the British Crown. If you look at it truthfully, the state is squatting on land taken from others. I don't believe the Palestinians were out to get Jews when this started. The reverse since can't be said to be false. Whether you like Ron Paul or not, the truth is that when he speaks, it is generally along the libertarian line. His foreign policy scares the **** out of the establishment, because the establishment power is derived out of the act of perpetual war. Under war, the executive has the capacity to run the economy. Outside of war, he has little power.
