Just FYI, the Marine holding the sign is using some military logo shorthand that should probably be pointed out:
OIF = Operation Iraqi Freedom OEF = Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) FML = **** MY LIFE
I cannnot emphasize how much these are used in the context of how these guys have realized that they are laying their lives on the life for a corrupt US government.

The best test of weather you have rights guaranteed by the constitution is free exercise of said rights and I salute all these Americans who are proving that a free country can only remain so by its individuals being able to protest freely the corruption of the government.

Read Demands of 'Occupy Wall Street' ... and Try Not to Laugh Read more: http://nation.foxnews.com/occupy-wall-st....By Kerry Picket, Washington Times The "Occupy Wall Street" protesters have listed 13 proposed demands from their website. Demand one: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be met by ending "Freetrade" by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported goods entering the American market to level the playing field for domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be instituted is raise the minimum wage to twenty dollars an hr. Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. To do this all private insurers must be banned from the healthcare market as their only effect on the health of patients is to take money away from doctors, nurses and hospitals preventing them from doing their jobs and hand that money to wall st. investors. Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment. Demand four: Free college education. Demand five: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy economy up to energy demand. Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now. Read more: http://nation.foxnews.com/occupy-wall-st....go to link to read the rest,,. There may not be looms and commies in Denver and Florida, but apparently there are in other cities.

Another smear job. That list is a week or more old and is NOT a list of "demands" from the OWS protesters. It's from one person who posted them. Hint: They have a democratic process down there, believe it or not. I saw the local version of it. It's real. Unless it comes out of that process, it is one guy shooting off his mouth and no more represents a "demand" of OWS than does me claiming to speak for the Libertarian Party of Okaloosa County (which I can't, as I'm not an officer!)

why post that utter crap on here , it is clear it's a "demand" of one person.
When I click through to the times even it disavows the list , but the "demands for congress" I see there seem open for debate and most would make sense.
You do realize you are not posting to children here, right?

The Washington Times prints an article yet provides no cites? No link to the "official" OWS site?

KD- can you explain the difference between OWS (NYC) and denver/florida? Are you saying they are all equal with no differing objectives motives? I can clearly see the dont tread on me flag, and similar other photos in the last few postings... but it does not take much searching to see all the crazy commie **** the guys in NYC are carrying around.
If I must, I will link to pictures and videos. I was sent some rather disgusting anti-semetic stuff out of NYC today.

I can't listen to talk radio or watch the news, and half the news and forums on the net all proclaim this movement to be backed and supported by every commie leftist wrongheaded shi*head dope out there. People who generally are pretty well on target, ie Beck would be just one, say same>>> OWS is not home grown Tea Party Patriotic Americans movement to any large degree.
I am careful of who I associate with and friends with, encourage my kids to careful in the same way too. Based upon all I'm reading there should be considerable doubt and question as to the origins, motives, and backing of OWS. Shoot, SEIU, the Communist Party, and King Rat Zero all BACK and SUPPORT OWS. That alone makes the hairs on my neck stand up.
I'd LIKE to believe that OWS is only fringe loonys and commies and majority truth seekers, but I haven't seen enough backing of that proof to believe. Sorry, Denver and Pensacola are not enough KD.

Well that's where you and I are different as I have not given anyone on radio or tv any thought for years now.
I go out and see what I see, I don't need any of those paid clowns to tell me what to think or feel about anything.
P.s. I love to meet people I may not agree with, it makes the conversation much more interesting and I may learn something. Life it too boring when you circle the wagons with only the like minded.

Karl,
As I typed in previous post, best I can do is sit in my own personal judgement at this point and respectfully disagree.
I thought the Washington Times newspaper was a reasonably reputable source to bring up, and it did say "The "Occupy Wall Street" protesters have listed 13 proposed demands from their website." Note it did say FROM THEIR WEBSITE and not AN INDIVIDUAL.
I'll try to find that website.

I think "FML?" might mean "FMLN". Si su puede. Just kidding. Seriously, though, if they want prosecutions, who do they expect to DO the prosecuting? I also saw "Move On supports OWS" in one picture. And over the weekend, I listened to a BBC report that interviewed several OWS people. They all agreed that Obama should be reelected.
One of the main reasons I didn't vote for McCain was his rush back to DC to ramrod TARP through. The fact that I already wanted Hank Paulson hanging from a rope didn't entice me to McCain either. Still, if these OWS people hate bankers and yet simultaneously want to reelect Obama (as I'm sure a majority do), well (to summon up my inner Hank Wms Jr) that's like Netanyahu voting for Hitler. Oh sure, the Gadsden flag guy will probably vote for Ron Paul, but most of them will vote for Obama. Furthermore, that "we're the 99%" stuff is a bunch of crap. Voters want more government services than they're willing to pay for. We TF'ers complain about how there is no democracy, how we were ignored over TARP, with protests outnumbering supporters of TARP at the time by 300:1. I was calling my congressman continually. The sad truth is that our congressional representatives reasoned that they would face more voter wrath for failing to act to "save the world" - and they were right. My congressman voted for TARP and won by 43 points. He votes to continue spending that cannot be sustained and he wins by 43 pts. How dare anyone who voted for him go downtown and declare themselves "the 99%"? I've been railing against the ponzi and government waste (including of the military variety) for years now and I refuse to lump myself in the same 99% as anyone who votes for any of my representatives.
Admittedly, it's easier for me to hate all of my representatives from city council to President of the US, since every single one - city council, mayor, state representative, state senator, governor, congressman, both US Senators, Vice-President & President are all liberal democrats. If I moved to FL or TX, I'd have to be mad at republicans, too.

Hopefully people will realize that there are courses of action that are opposite of both the D's and the R's. For to long most people have acted as if the D's and R's were opposite of each other AND, if you were not a D you must be an R and vice-versa.
I keep telling people that the D's or the R's are like a two-headed dog with rabies and that arguing over whether the D's or R's are better is like arguing over which head is better to be bitten by. OWS, much like what I saw in the original TEA Party, is the anthesis of both the D's and the R's. Like I have said before, the OWS movement is in the stage where who gains control of the narrative will win the battle.
