Our super sensitive, idiotic PC nation has confused discrimination with obvious threats. Our Constitution guarantees freedom of religion, not an act of terrorism disguised as a religion.
The Islam we see practiced daily is not a religion but rather a declaration of war and it should be acknowledged , and acted upon, as such.

I doubt that all Muslims take the Koran literally as to the majority of Christians don't interpret the Bible literally anymore.
As for the leader of Somalia's Islamist insurgency making threats from a desolate and powerless place on the earth, the chances of him doing much to our country is close to nil.

Fundamental, "true" Islam demands its followers to wage war on the entire world until "all religion is for Allah". Not all (most) Muslims do not follow true Islam - some of those are akin to "jack" Christians who attend church every Christmas and Easter and do little to nothing else, and as such, would likely make perfectly good neighbors. Islam claims that lying is moral, as long as it furthers the goal of literal Islamic world domination. The Koran itself describes the principle of abrogation (new replaces the old), which is a problem because all the peaceful ("no compulsion in religion") writings came before the writings mandating war for global Islamic conquest. "True" Islam is completely incompatible with any other religion or other way of life. What's really discouraging about this guy is he could very well owe his very life to the US government/taxpayer providing food to him when he was a fly covered boy of 10 being pictured on a CARE ad.
Big mistake every helping these international basket case nations as we only end up with lots of here and even more of them there. If you Google 'Somali' the terms that come up are 'war', terrorism, famine, welfare and ridiculous Islamic complaints such as the Minnesota ( somali) cab drivers who did not want
to take fares who had alcoholic beverages with them.

What Americans would never say about Jews, or blacks, or Catholics, or women, they have no problem saying about muslims. They take a somalian equivalent to John Hagee and say this represents the whole religion. This is just some perverted bandwagon effect where people spout ignorance about Muslims because they think everyone approves of what they say.
Most of the people who read this blog are cynical to the max about government honesty and the rule of law, but seem to swallow the tripe about "muslims are bad" hook and sinker.
Muslims are no better, nor worse, than your average American white, middle class, financial geek.
